Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a EACN Technical Documentation & Security Support Specialist to provide support for the Executive Airlift Communications Network (EACN). The Technical Documentation & Security Support Specialist maintains a Government-owned technical library supporting configuration, maintenance, and engineering of EACN across three sites using AMC/A6-approved repositories (e.g., shared drives, Microsoft Teams). The role also facilitates completion of the EACN Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) matrix in accordance with the Air Force PPS program and provides security administration support for classified material handling, end-of-day checks, and internal controls.

Responsibilities- Maintain a technical library of publications and technical data (vendor, commercial, and/or government), including technical orders, OEM manuals, configuration guides, and installation guides, in AMC/A6-approved locations (e.g., shared drives, Teams).
- Ensure the technical library is accessible to authorized users across all three sites supporting EACN operations.
- Manage technical data as Government property; ensure Government ownership is preserved through task order completion/termination and support orderly turnover when required.
- Prevent unauthorized release of technical data; coordinate and obtain approval from the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) prior to any release of technical data to outside parties.
- Facilitate completion and maintenance of the EACN Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) matrix as governed by the Air Force PPS program.
- Coordinate with Air Force and contractor stakeholders to collect/validate PPS information and track items to completion.
- Provide security support requiring joint Air Force/contractor coordination, including packaging classified information/materials, mailing and receiving classified materials, and implementing emergency procedures for protection of classified information.
- Perform required security checks and documentation (end-of-day checks, SF 701 Activity Security Checklist, SF 702 Security Container Check Sheet).
- Support internal security controls for protection of classified materials and high-value pilferable property.
- If required and authorized, access secure rooms/open storage areas/security containers and use alarm codes/combinations consistent with site policy.

- Ability to support multi-site documentation accessibility and control.
- Experience supporting documentation/compliance processes (e.g., matrices, inventories, tracking actions) with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow Government direction regarding technical data stewardship and release controls (CO/COR approval requirements).
- Ability to perform security administrative tasks and required checklists/forms (SF 701/SF 702) in accordance with local procedures
Preferred Qualifications:Clearance: Able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret w/SCI clearance Education: Masters Degree
Additional Experience:
- Prior experience supporting Air Force or DoD programs in a technical documentation control, configuration documentation, or security support role.
- Familiarity with Air Force Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) program processes and matrix development/maintenance.
- Experience working in controlled areas (secure rooms, security containers, open storage areas) and supporting classified mailing/receiving procedures.
