We seek a highly skilled and customer-focused Technical Customer Support Specialist V to join our team. The Technical Customer Support Specialist V will serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our products and services. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a solid technical background to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or live chat, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software-related problems with manufacturing equipment or products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including issue resolution and follow-up actions, in the CRM system and write internal knowledge articles.
- Parts orders for Large Orders. This will also include research, working with the Purchasing & Inventory team on Vendor Quotes, and the creation of Customer Quotes.
- Assist with product documentation, FAQs, and training materials to improve customer self-service options.
- Conduct remote or on-site training sessions for customers as needed.
- Gather customer feedback and report trends to support product improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical support, customer service, or a related role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and support ticket systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or blueprints.
- A proactive attitude and a customer-first mindset.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with the Salesforce platform.
- Multilingual capabilities to support a diverse customer base.
What We Offer:
Full Time: 40+ hours per week Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm PST
Wages: $42.54 – $45.91 Hourly
We offer 100% company-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision for the employee, a 401k with match, vacation, and a boot allowance. The starting PTO accrual is 4.66 hours of PTO earned every pay period.
Must be within driving distance of our Santa Rosa California Office.
