Position: Technical Customer Program Manager
Reports To: Director of Operations

Coreshell's metallurgical Silicon anode technology delivers high capacity, fast-charging, and superior safety. Our low-cost liquid-phase nano-coating addresses critical electrode-surface degradation issues and enables batteries with a Silicon-dominant anode that have higher energy density, superior intrinsic thermal safety, and significantly lower cost/kWh compared to current LIBs. Our Si anode material is 50% the cost of graphite and 100% domestically sourced. We strive to transform the global automotive market by enabling low-cost and long-range EVs as a first step towards net-zero sustainability in the near future.

 

Core Responsibilities: We are looking for a Technical Customer Program Manager to support commercial engagements by partnering with internal commercial and technical teams and external stakeholders to deliver on customer programs. This individual will own the customer relationship and be the go-between for our technical teams and the customer and will manage the customer project so that deliverables are met. The ideal candidate has experience managing a complex project from beginning to end with a large enterprise customer and can manage expectations should project milestones are delayed. Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the lifecycle of technical project from initiation to delivery, including planning, execution and risk management
  • Strengthen relationship with customer to understand their needs and requirements and ensure requirements are met through project deliverables and within the project timeline discussed
  • Communicate effectively with customer on project status and risks and milestones to both technical and nontechnical external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Business Development, Technical and Manufacturing teams to ensure that project is on track for a successful delivery
  • Develop and strengthen relationship with customer across different teams and key stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact for all customer-related matters
  • Travel to visit customers and attend meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering or relevant field 
  • Ph.D or Master’s degree in a battery-related field is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in a Technical Customer Program Manager, working with enterprise customers
  • Strong experience in complex project management skills that involve delivering on technical programs
  • Proven ability to manage complex and ambiguous enterprise level projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with an ability to operate on his/her own initiative
  • Creative problem solver and able to juggle multiple projects at any given time 

 

Location & Benefits: San Leandro, CA. Full-time. $126,000-174,000. Salary and equity options dependent on experience. Dental, vision, healthcare and 401(k) benefits are included. Applications will be screened as received.
