We are currently seeking a Technical Content Manager to join our Diagnostic Systems team.  In this role you will interface with various teams to gather, edit, release, maintain diagnostic information and procedures contained in the diagnostics database.

The Role:
•    Maintain diagnostic information and procedures contained in the diagnostics database
•    Interface between Manufacturing, Service, Diagnostic Systems, and Component Engineering teams to gather technical information
•    Improve editorial and visual standards for documentation and recommend new designs, layouts, and formatting for internal tools
•    Ensure content is authored as per lucid standard.
•    Validate information for accuracy and use a routing and review process for document approval
•    Understand technical problems and communicate them effectively to non-technical teams.
•    Comprehend technical content and communicate them effectively to relevant stakeholders
•    Ensure complete content coverage and formatting.
•    Manage tasks and information flow using collaboration software (such as JIRA, SharePoint, and custom databases.
•    Report status updates on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
•    3+ years of experience in Technical writing.
•    Aptitude with transcribing non-technical writing into comprehensible content.
•    Interpersonal Communication Skills.
•    Self-directed and able to work independently with little supervision.
•    Proficient in Jira, Microsoft Word, Excel.
•    Basic understanding of HTML.
•    Passion of Automotive content.
Preferred Qualifications:
•    Authoring instructions and procedures type technical document experience.
•    Technical understanding of Electric Vehicle architecture.
•    Familiarity with Electric Vehicle troubleshooting procedures.
•    Partner with engineering teams to create and update diagnostic information and procedures contained in the diagnostics knowledge base for use by non-engineers.
•    Collaborate with various engineering and quality teams to gather technical information.
•    Edit content according to a style guide and enforce organization standards.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

 

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$116,200$159,830 USD
