We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Consultant specializing in Network and Security to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert-level guidance on the design, implementation, management, and optimization of network infrastructure and security solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients to identify their needs, offer strategic solutions, and ensure the seamless deployment and integration of network and security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1.     Client Consultation and Requirements Gathering:

·       Engage with clients to understand their network and security needs.

·       Analyze client infrastructure, workflows, and security posture to propose effective solutions.

·       Provide expert recommendations for best practices in network design, security architecture, and infrastructure management.

2.     Network Design and Architecture:

·       Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions.

·       Create detailed network topology diagrams, configurations, and documentation.

·       Develop and maintain network architecture plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

3.     Security Implementation and Optimization:

• Design and deploy security infrastructure solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, etc.).
  
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement network security protocols to mitigate risks.
  
• Optimize security configurations to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
  

4.     Troubleshooting and Support:

• Troubleshoot network and security-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
  
• Offer post-deployment support, ensuring that networks are functioning at optimal performance levels.
  
• Provide ongoing monitoring and tuning of security devices and network performance metrics.
  

5.     Documentation and Reporting:

• Produce high-quality technical documentation, including network designs, security policies, and configuration guides.
  
• Provide clients with regular status reports, risk assessments, and recommendations.
  

6.     Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure a seamless deployment process.
  
• Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, emerging threats, and new network technologies.
  
• Mentor junior team members and share expertise in network and security best practices.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering, security consulting, or related roles.
  
• Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.), routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
  
• Hands-on experience with network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, DLP, etc.).
  
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
  

·        Excellent Technical expertise with emerging technologies like SDWAN, WAF, ADC, NAC, NGFW

• Familiarity with regulatory standards (PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA) and compliance best practices.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, CISA, CCIE, Fortinet -NSE4, NSE5, NSE7 or equivalent are preferred.

Desirable Skills:

• Excellent Technical hands-on experience with Cisco/HPE/Aruba/Fortinet/F5 Platform Networking devices
  
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, network virtualization, and cloud security.
  
• Knowledge of advanced network security concepts (zero-trust architecture, threat hunting, etc.).

• This is a client-facing role, requiring occasional travel to client sites.
