Job Description

The Technical Consultant’s primary responsibility is to carry out all configuration and development activity. Technical Consultant will be required to analyze and contribute to functional specifications provided by business users and produce technical specification. Technical Consultant is involved at each stage of the software development lifecycle from helping to assess the feasibility of an identified business requirement, through documentation, development, testing & delivery.

Soft Skills:

• Clear communicator (written and verbal) • Creative solving of technical problems • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables • Ability to comprehend and understand business processes and requirements and translate to technical design • Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers

Technical Skills (Must Have):

• Strong C/AL development background • Configure, develop and deliver MS Dynamics NAV/LS Retail in all functional areas. • Must have an experience in Visual Studio Code • Knowledge in NAV web-services • Knowledge in NAV 5.0, 2009, 2013 C/SIDE Solution Development • Business process understanding • Microsoft .NET technology, Microsoft Visual Studio development system, and Microsoft Dynamics-specific development environments • Role Tailored Client development experience (including Page & Report) • Understanding of key independent software vendors (ISVs) within the defined vertical(s) • Integration of Microsoft Dynamics to other applications • Understands and follows development best practices and ensures that modification is documented

Technical Skills (Desired):

• Professional Certification and accreditation strongly recommended or equivalent work experience. • AL Programming & Visual Studio Code. • Microsoft Dynamics NAV/LS Retail Certification(s) in related discipline a plus • Web Development & SharePoint programming a plus • Prior NAV Upgrade and Data Migration experiences highly desired.
