About the role:
As a Business Analyst, you will work with the Industrial Engineers and the Operations Leadership teams to document the end-to-end production process and training materials for our best-in-class products that will define the world of fintech. You’ll work as part of a team in an agile setting and must be a self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and organized. You will also be supporting the industrial engineers to drive improvements in the production areas. This will require the analyst to work directly with the IE to understand and analyze the business today and to make recommendations on improvements related to efficiencies that align with our Future Forward initiatives. One needs very strong background in analytics and engineering to apply.
About the team:
Join the Commercial and BPaaS (business process as a service) Delivery Center of Excellence team based out of San Antonio, TX. In the San Antonio site, we provide 24/7 card production support, and you'll have the chance to work directly with our industry engineer. In San Antonio, you will also have the chance to work with our Print/Mail team. You'll also have the chance to travel and meet our counterpart teams in Romeoville, IL and to other production sites such as West Deptford and St. Petersburg, FL! In addition, you will have exposure to other product lines under BPaaS organization (Print, Lockbox, and Item Processing). Canton, MA as another potential location.
What you will be doing:
Work on-site approximately 4 days a week (to be coordinate with Industrial Engineer and Operations Management team); in the beginning, the onsite time will be 5 days a week.

Maintain documentation related to card production & other business procedures.

Maintain work instructions associated with card and other product manufacturing.

Work with ops management and Industrial Engineer to create training materials for operations activities.

Complete annual reviews on procedures/training materials to ensure they remain accurate and up to date.

Work directly with our industry engineer to understand and analyze the business today and to make recommendations on improvements related to efficiencies that align with our Future Forward Initiative.

Work with the engineers to build reporting in PowerBI or other reporting tools.

Executing projects to realize production site improvements leveraging proven project management skills.

Delivering working product increments to our clients, on time, on budget and according to the best quality standards.

Working with product management, stakeholders, peers, and teams to define and prioritize the product backlog for your team.

Driving improvements in solution design, analysis, and testing activities.
What you will need:

Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios.

Analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Strong Excel skills
-
Programming /reporting skills (e.g., using Power BI)

Proficiency in industry-standard process mapping and analysis methodologies (such as Visio)

Ability to work across different types of teams (strong interpersonal skills).

Ability to coach/share learnings and procedures.

A bachelor’s in business administration, finance, computer science or information systems, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, system’s engineering, technical writing, or the equivalent experience.

Strong verbal & written communication skills.

Experience with oral presentations.

Ability to work in groups.

Ability to learn quickly and be adaptable.

Nice to have:

Six sigma green belt or equivalent

Knowledge in procedure writing is a plus

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing

3 to 5 years of practical experience in a Business Analyst role or strong internship experience and desire to learn and grow

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $62,170.00 - $101,340.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
