Accelerate Business Outcomes Through AI-Powered Requirements Engineering: Reporting to the Head of Digital Operations, you will serve as the critical bridge between business vision and technical execution, translating complex business objectives into strategy for our Production Support and Release Management. Your role is critical in ensuring our development efforts remain closely aligned with business objectives while maintaining technical excellence. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will work within our engineering organization to ensure clear understanding, thorough documentation, and successful delivery of business requirements. You'll help establish practices that enable our engineering teams to efficiently build solutions that precisely meet business needs. This includes performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting integration points, and defining acceptance criteria that ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives while maintaining technical excellence.
What You’ll Do at Live Oak
AI Fluency and Integration: You'll leverage advanced AI tools to transform our requirements gathering, analysis, and validation processes. This includes using large language models for documentation generation and analysis, implementing AI-assisted testing frameworks, and developing predictive analytics to identify potential requirement gaps before they impact development.
Innovation Charter: You'll have significant autonomy to reimagine our requirements engineering process. We expect you to introduce cutting-edge methodologies, evaluate and implement AI-powered requirements tools, and create frameworks that become industry standards for business-engineering alignment. Working closely with engineering leadership, you will help streamline how we gather, document, and validate business requirements. This includes developing templates and standards that help engineering teams consistently understand and meet business expectations while maintaining development efficiency.
Requirements Analysis and Documentation: You will help engineering teams fully understand business requirements and document them effectively. This includes facilitating discussions to clarify business needs, documenting use cases and acceptance criteria, and ensuring engineering teams have the context they need to build the right solutions.
Solution Validation: You will work with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements before deployment. This includes developing test scenarios that validate business functionality, confirming proper integration with existing processes, and ensuring solutions deliver the intended business value.
Team Support: You will serve as a resource to multiple teams throughout the development process, helping them understand business context, clarify requirements, and resolve questions that arise during development. Your support will help teams stay focused on delivering business value while maintaining technical quality.
Thought Leadership: You'll serve as the intellectual catalyst within our engineering organization, elevating how teams conceptualize and execute on business requirements. By introducing innovative methodologies and facilitating cross-team knowledge sharing, you'll create a culture where requirements engineering becomes a competitive advantage. We expect you to develop frameworks that teams enthusiastically adopt because they demonstrably improve both technical outcomes and business impact.
Maintain a high standard of regulatory awareness including BSA, AML, CIP, and OFAC

Required Experience
5+ years of experience in business analysis or similar role
Understanding of software development processes
Experience working with engineering teams
Proficiency with requirements management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Lucid, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to write and validate technical specifications
Experience implementing requirements traceability across complex systems
Proven ability to build consensus across engineering, business, and other stakeholders
Experience facilitating complex decision-making processes with competing priorities
Preferred Experience

The base pay range for this position is $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy. A candidate’s salary is determined by several factors including travel, relevant work experience or skills and expertise.Please note that we provide at least the minimum requirement of paid sick leave to our employees who reside in states that require employer-paid sick leave, including but not limited to Arizona, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
