The bar is high but once you’re in, you’ll be an integral part of an agile development team at Huawei Turkey R&D Center, and you will play a key role on in customization of Huawei’s products.
Responsibilities
- Clarify all business requirements assigned by Huawei Head Quarters (China) in coordinating with product management team.
- Effectively communicates with Chinese product owners and system engineers. Clarifies each new software requirement with Huawei HQ.
- Coordinate technical design of a software delivery cycle (version/iteration/sprint) for project modules or services.
- Breaks down complex tasks or projects for developer team members.
- Prepares or reviews solution artifacts such use cases, user stories, “software design specification”, API specification, “work breakdown structure”, UML, integration flow diagrams, analysis summaries etc. of each received new requirements for development team.
- Clarifies architecture of existing and new micro services for a project.
- Proposes technical strategies for several sub modules in a project.
- Encourages healthy debate between team members and drive the decision-making process.
- Strives to be responsive and capable of making fast decisions, keeping momentum behind the project delivery and release.
- Reliably jumps in and refines decisions which may not be in-line with the goals of the project, typically armed with a more sound solution.
- Actively joins code review, quality and testing activities for projects.
- Maintains up-to-date business, information, technical and integration awareness of all sub modules or services.
- Effectively communicates with technical leaders of all teams towards progress on sub-modules.
- Communicates/synthetizes work progress of teams towards PM.
- Supports EMs and PM in maintaining a coherent view of a team's progress in project tracking systems.
- Assists PM and EMs into setting priorities for a team's assignments.
- Assists PM and EMs to coordinate the definition of the technical roadmap, especially to balance business strategy with implementation constraints and balance implementation strategy / constraints with employment.
- Identifies “orphan” issues or product areas and points them out to PM and EMs.
- Enhances operations by performing systems analysis; suggest modifications in procedures and policies.
- Demonstrates engineering best practices by example and proposes updates to engineering practices within project team.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Advanced spoken and written English.
- 3+ years’ active development, requirement clarification and customer engagement experience.
- Mastery in Java, Spring Boot, API services.
- Experience on software design document in project which is in micro service architecture.
- Experience with micro services architecture.
- Experience in Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience in dev-op is a plus.
