Role: Technical Architect

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne * this will require one day per week in the clients office which is based in the North East.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing technical architecture solutions that align with the business strategy.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and solutions for the organization.
- Overseeing the integration of applications and systems to maximize efficiencies.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to development teams to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Participating in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into architectural designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and architecture principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Expertise in various programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python).
- Experience in system integration and data management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
