We are seeking an experienced Payment Technical Architect to design and implement cutting-edge payment solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong domain knowledge, and leadership skills to drive complex projects in the financial technology space.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance payment systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead technical discussions, mentor teams, and provide guidance on best practices.
- Ensure robust security and adherence to PCI-DSS and other compliance frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 12+ years in software engineering and architecture, with at least 5+ years in the payments domain.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, transaction flows, and settlement mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with Java/.NET, microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Familiarity with security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, TLS) and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS).
- Domain Knowledge:
- Exposure to card networks (Visa, Mastercard), UPI, wallets, and payment gateways.
- Understanding of fraud detection, risk management, and reconciliation processes.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
