Work Model:              Hybrid - 3 days in office and any key meetings

Job Description:

MarTech Technical Architects work directly with clients and stakeholders to design highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable solutions. They are hands-on from proposal to development to deployment and responsible for first level escalations.

A MarTech Architect is expected to maintain an ongoing knowledge of the digital landscape including top platforms, emerging trends, AI impacts, etc. They are knowledgeable about the full MarTech Stack including marketing operations, data, channel orchestration, and common use cases marketers are seeking to implement. They are passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented, team-oriented, excellent communicators and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They will deal with highly ambiguous problems, take responsibility for finding solutions, and will drive towards simple solutions to such complex problems.

The MarTech Architect is an integral part of the Credera Digital team who participates in growing the Practice with strategy formulation, team building, mentoring and recruitment.

  • Meet with clients to determine business, functional, and technical requirements to design the technical roadmap to deliver secure, compliant MarTech solutions based on best practices
  • Translate business requirements into component-based framework solutions while working with a broad set of stakeholders
  • Perform analysis, design, customization and configuration for MarTech solutions
  • Participate in and/or lead efforts of full lifecycle development in a mixed environment to support / make new enhancements and automate existing applications
  • Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states
  • Troubleshoot key implementation issues and drive to successful resolution
  • Establish client relationships as a trusted advisor while providing first level escalation for client concerns and share key milestone celebrations with the team
  • Communicate effectively within a globally distributed team
  • Document best practices and operational procedures

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, MIS, or a related field
    • One of more specialized certification preferred
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on keyboard / full-cycle development for MarTech solutions
  • Minimum 2 years Architectural experience designing, enabling, and optimizing Marketing Technology systems
  • Experience leading teams that drive customer and business outcomes
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing role, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, engaging both business and technical stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems analytically, and adapt to new technologies and processes
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and team members
  • Creative thinker who values diverse perspectives and innovation

Role Requirements:

  • Architect and implement solutions across the MarTech Stack with specialization within 2 or more platforms
  • Hands on keyboard full cycle MarTech development 
    • MarTech Platforms: 
      • CMS (Contentful, AEM)
      • CRM (SF Service Cloud, SF Sales Cloud)
      • Marketing Automation (SFMC, Braze)
      • AdTech (SF DMP, AppsFlyer)
      • Analytics & Reporting (Adobe Analytics, GA4, GTM, Tableau, Looker)
    • Experience building various bespoke solutions across multiple platforms & custom applications

Relevant experience in one or more of the following:

Commerce Development

  • Commerce Platforms: Broadleaf, Shopify, Adobe Commerce, Etc.
  • Product Development: internal search, payment processing, pim, oms, etc.

MarTech & Commerce Strategy

  • Breadth of understanding across the full scope of both MarTech and Commerce ecosystems
  • MarTech Assessment, gap analysis, and roadmap strategy
  • Commerce Assessment, gap analysis, and roadmap strategy

Hybrid Working Model: Our employees have the flexibility to work remotely two days a week. We expect team members to spend three days in person, with the freedom to choose the days and times that best suit them, their project, and their teams. Travel: For our consulting roles, our goal is to minimize travel, and most projects do not require extensive travel. While some projects may involve up to 80% travel for a period, the annual average for team members is typically 10%–30%.
