Position Overview
As a Technology Alignment Manager (TAM), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients' IT environments align with established best practices and standards. Your proactive assessments and recommendations will drive technology strategies, enhance system performance, and support clients' business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular technology alignment reviews for clients, assessing systems, security, and compliance with best practices.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clients' IT infrastructures to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients to develop technology strategies and recommendations based on assessment findings.
- Work closely with internal teams, including account managers and service desk personnel, to implement alignment initiatives.
- Document findings, recommendations, and progress in alignment tools and platforms.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to provide informed guidance to clients.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in an IT support or consulting role, preferably within an MSP environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
- Proficiency with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools and Professional Services Automation (PSA) systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar.
- Experience with alignment tools like myITprocess or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, GDPR).
