This position sits on site 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership for the Marketing and Brand functions, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and financial objectives.
  • Oversee strategic planning, budget management, and vendor/agency partnerships with a focus on operational efficiency and measurable results.
  • Guide cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to drive enterprise-wide initiatives and shared business goals.
  • Serve as a key steward of the company’s brand portfolio, ensuring consistency in positioning, messaging, and customer experience across all channels and vendors.
  • Drive disciplined financial management by setting budgets, monitoring spend, and ensuring ROI across all programs.
  • Lead organizational change efforts by fostering innovation, accountability, and adaptability within the team and across departments.
  • Build and develop a high-performing leadership team that emphasizes coaching, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Support executive leadership in long-term planning, risk management, and business growth opportunities.
  • Represent the company externally with key vendors, industry partners, and at major events, serving as both a brand ambassador and business leader.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with a blend of marketing, brand management, and general management responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that balance strategic growth with fiscal responsibility.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience overseeing large budgets and vendor partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and driving organizational change.
  • Excellent executive communication and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively across C-suite and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, complex environment requiring strategic decision-making and sound judgment.

Full-time store positions at GameStop are also eligible to participate in incentive programs, health benefits, paid time off, 401 (k), employee discount and a casual work environment. Positions at GameStop may also be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentives.
