Job Title: Lead Software Engineer / Tech Lead

We work with innovative tech companies in the US and Japan and are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer / Tech Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead our development projects, ensuring high-quality software solutions while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of software projects while ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.

• Implement and maintain high-quality codebases using Typescript and React, adhering to best practices in software development.

• Utilize project management tools such as Linear to effectively track progress, manage tasks, and facilitate team collaboration.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

• Stay abreast of new technology trends and best practices in software development to continuously enhance our capabilities.

• Occasionally visit the office for team meetings, project kick-offs, and other collaborative activities, while primarily working remotely.

• Proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer, Tech Lead, or similar role in software development projects.

• Strong project management skills with experience in using project management tools like Linear.

• Proficiency in Typescript and React, with a solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach to software development.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving project objectives.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, enhancing collaboration between the development and design teams.

• Experience with Python, adding versatility to your technical skill set and contributing to projects requiring a broader range of technologies.
