Role: Tech Lead (Support Projects)

Job Description:

·  Engineer will be responsible for implementation and configuration of Products on Hadoop, docker , ansible.

·  Responsible for software performance measurement, analysis and tuning in a data center environment.

·  Configuring, administering, monitoring, debugging, and tuning applications, clustered across several/single platforms, Analysing applications and code and making performance-tuning recommendations to developers.

·  Expecting knowledge of Linux shell script

·  Engineer will be responsible for Installation of standard products like Linux, Oracle, Jboss, Tomcat, and Apache along with Sterlite products. He should be able to do configuration and fine-tuning of parameters to provide stability and performance of the system.

·  Engineer will be responsible for maintaining servers and should be able to control the server's start up/shutdown.

·  Should be self-sufficient to find and fix application/system related issues

·  Team Player, with the level of dedication and commitment.

·  Person should be open to work in 16*5 Shifts.

• Understand functional and technical requirements as specified in the requirement documents
  
• Conduct Acceptance Tests with the customer.
  
• Report progress of assigned activities to the Solution Architect and CPM.
  
• Do competence development of self in new solution areas & certification.
  
• Investigate and owns the resolution of chronic service problems with undetermined root causes ensuring best service stability and performance.
  
• Define & manage service improvement plans for KPIs that are at risk of failing their target and interfacing with Planning & Engineering for proactive optimization.
  

Skill Requirement:

·  Good Oral and written documentation skills

·  7 or more years of data strategy and architecture related experience

·  Expert in SQL programming AND Hands-on experience in Python

·  Experience with traditional ETL integration tools as well as more modern real-time messaging/integration platforms

·  4-6 years of experience in Scripting Language (Linux, SQL, Python).

·  Good Knowledge of Linux, Monitoring tools.

·  Hands-on experience on mediation.

·  Very good Knowledge and experience in Installation, Configuration, System Performance tuning, and troubleshooting of LINUX/UNIX, Apache, JBoss, Tomcat.

·  Telecom Networks, Linux, Network Implementation, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Tomcat

·  Good Analytical and logical skills.

·  Good understanding of Telecom Domain.

·  Strong understanding of Docker/Kubernetes/Ansible experts.

·  Strong understanding of network configuration, devices, protocols, speeds, and optimizations 

·  Strong understanding of the Java ecosystem including debugging, logging, monitoring, and profiling tools

·  Minimum experience of 6-9 years in Managing and Supporting large-scale environment.

·  Excellent verbal and written communications.
