Role Overview: Your Day-to-Day

As Tech Lead-Full Stack, you will:


  • Guide the technical direction for a team focused on greenfield projects, owning multiple microservices, automation for internal processes and tools to elevate customer experience.
  • Shape the broader work culture by mentoring your own team and influencing other teams to adopt proactive, creative, and forward-thinking practices.
  • Empower team members to take on creative challenges and drive innovation across the organization
  • Engage directly with stakeholders, supported by the product team, to ensure solutions deliver real business value.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in your technology and domain, providing guidance and expertise across Sector Alarm.

This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Technology:

  • Working with hardware components and IoT devices
  • Modern DevOps setup with Azure Kubernetes and microservices.
  • Azure cloud infrastructure
  • C#, .NET Core and backend REST API
  • SQL and noSQL databases

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the technical vision, architecture, and solution design for your team’s domain.
  • Lead development and delivery of APIs and backend services and internal tools (.NET, React).
  • Determine project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
  • Delegate tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Identify risks, build consensus, solve blockers and forming contingency plans as soon as possible. Escalate when needed for complex technical initiatives across platforms, disciplines and teams.
  • Strengthen and support the development team, building software that helps to protect the lives and homes of our customers
  • Write clean, scalable code using C# .NET Core (60-70% of time)
  • Write code and develop according to the assigned tasks and specifications
  • Make regular modifications to existing software for error correction, adaptation to new hardware and to improve overall function and performance
  • Evaluate new code for reliable architecture, stability, reusability, performance, automation, security and metrics
  • Mentor developers and influence training and development plans for technical skills, extending your impact beyond your immediate team.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Write unit and integration tests to cover functionality and reduce regressions
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Product Owners, and Engineering Managers to agree on solutions and communicate technical debt and its value.

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years as a Tech Lead or equivalent senior technical role.
  • Minimum 8 years as a Backend Developer (.NET Core/C#), with hands-on coding experience.
  • Strong expertise in React and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Excellent knowledge in development processes and DevOps best practices
  • Proven experience designing and delivering production APIs and backend systems.
  • Solid understanding of microservices, REST/event-driven APIs, and cloud environments (Azure preferred).
  • SQL, noSQL and EntityFramework
  • Experience in automation and integration testing
  • Valid EU work permit
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

 

Nice-to-have

  • Azure DevOps and Terraform is a plus
  • IoT experience is a plus
  • Authentication/authorization flows (Auth0).
