What You'll Do- Develop the entire automation solution life cycle, from intake through development, debugging, testing, and implementation into production.
- Write documentation that follows the Reporting Center of Excellence’s standards and governance.
- Review and ensure all developed automated solutions meet objectives and guidelines by collaborating with the lead engineer.
- Build and review sustainability documentation for automated processes and contribute to team training and professional development.
- Maintain and debug over 500 existing automation processes to ensure consistent, accurate, and up-to-date operational rhythms.
- Lead recurring meetings with business collaborators, sharing functional and technical expertise, identifying automation opportunities, and guiding participants in setting up successful automation processes.
- Research and develop code to improve existing automations, focusing on faster run times and innovative solutions.
- Support the Reporting Center of Excellence in driving forward strategic and tactical implementation of automation solutions.
- Direct the development of automation solutions using Python, Blue Prism, Power Automate, Co Pilot Studio, and other platforms to simplify repetitive tasks.
- Conduct detailed reviews of automation code developed by team members, providing constructive feedback and ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
- Mentor and train junior engineers, encouraging skill development in Python, Blue Prism, Power Automate, and problem-solving techniques.
- Find opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to optimize automations.
- Incorporate AI/ML capabilities into automation workflows where applicable.
- Support proof-of-concept developments to evaluate new tools and frameworks for automation efficiency.
