Our client is a software engineering firm specializing in product development for the global market. They are looking for a Tech Lead - Front End (ReactJS/React Native) to welcome to their team with the below requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business partners to understand the business context and craft best-in-class solutions to their toughest problems
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in all aspects of software engineering design and implementations including data engineering
- Lead, design, and develop automation to optimize data platform compute and storage resources
- Evaluate and make recommendations on new technologies, tools and guide the team
- on up-to-dote technologies, standards, and practices
- Contribute to the internal knowledge base to build expertise and awareness within the organization
- Assist in our recruiting and interviewing process
- Participate in developing projects plan, timelines and providing estimates
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms
- Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes-React Native moves fast and often breaks things
- Transition existing React web apps to React Native
- Coach and mentor junior developers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines
- 5+ years of experience with front-end development and mobile development (Android and iOS) using ReactjS or React Native
- Experience with mobile application deployment using CI/CD process
- Firm grasp of the javascript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
- Experience in javascript frameworks such as Angular, jQuery, Vue.js, Ember.js, etc
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS3, and DOM manipulation
- Experience with Bootstrap or Material UI
- Experience with Node.js is an added advantage
- Good understanding of UX with A/B and multivariate experiments/testing
- Experience in AJAX, JSON, XML, and WebSocket
- Hands-on exposure in working with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure would be an added advantage
- Rock-solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, Intellij
- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
- Understanding of GraphQL
- Understanding of SEO frameworks, best practices, and site optimization
- Experiences with automated testing suites, like jest or Mocha
- Proficient understanding of Git
- Experience in scrum-based software development, LIRA, and CI/CD
- Proven ability to broadly influence leadership in the organization
- Experience working in highly agile, startup product development environments
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Demonstrated negotiation skills, utilizes experience and knowledge to persuade others in reaching desired outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with remote teams
