Role Summary
We are seeking a Teamlead for our growing SAP HCM AMS team located in Sailauf, Germany. This individual will be responsible for managing AMS (Application Management Services) for Magna's complete SAP HCM landscape in Europe. This landscape is currently in preparation phase for HCM for S4HANA into Private Cloud and will result in many opportunities and changes. The successful candidate should have experience in team leadership or be willing to go the next step in his/her professional career. The role requires good communication, problem-solving skills and deep understanding of SAP (HCM) processes. Tasks will also cover Change Management as well as partnering with external consultants to support the internal team (hybrid mode).
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the SAP HCM team, ensuring efficient AMS for the European region.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business users, process owners, and IT teams, to understand requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
  • Act as a pivotal member of the change management process, facilitating and supporting the implementation of changes within the SAP HCM environment.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external partners who provide support to the internal SAP HCM team, ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Manage and prioritize workloads, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests.
  • Understand complex technical issues related to SAP HCM, taking a hands-on approach when necessary.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and analysts, to implement system changes and deliver projects successfully.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and conduct training sessions as needed.


Knowledge and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).


Work Experience

  • Ideally experience as a Teamlead or Manager in an SAP HCM environment, with a focus on AMS.


Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Knowledge of SAP HCM modules and functionalities.
  • Strong understanding of European HR processes and legislative requirements.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent German communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP system configuration, customization, and testing.

The annual remuneration package for this position is a minimum of EUR 85.000,-, with corresponding performance. We offer attractive benefits (e.g. discretionary performance bonus, employee profit participation program) and a salary which is in line with market conditions depending on your skills and experience.
Regular travel: 10-15% of the time.
