RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading, manage and develop an international, agile working team
Initiates, supervises and supports a project portfolio with value contribution
Lead high complexity projects from ideation through prototyping to production readiness
Intensive stakeholder management across business, functions and other departments within Evonik and external partners
The role combines an understanding of the fields of IT, AI/ML, business, R&D and process know-how domains with data driven decision making to create impact at Evonik’s businesses.
Drive the development of solutions relevant from proposal through prototype stage to the final solutions
Drives innovation and new technologies which bring benefit to Evonik
REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree in computer sciences, business informatics, business administration or a related field
More than 15 years’ of professional relevant experience
Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in the international environment and in matrix organizations
Strong commercial understanding and experience with business cases, budget and cost control
Strong knowledge within the fields of AI, Machine Learning and/or new technologies
High level of comprehension of business and R&D processes
High level of initiative, assertiveness, and a team-oriented way of working
Strong skills in strategic thinking
