Job Description

Generic Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and implementation of policies, processes and procedures, aligned with the defined strategy and ensures the implementation and execution of the processes for which the area is responsible, as well as ensures compliance with internal standards and procedures and with local and international legislation and standards.
  • Manages an area of high importance for the company, being responsible for a team and a budget, with a high degree of autonomy, being responsible for the decision processes that concern the area and for aligning with the counterpart of the Business.
  • Plans, develops, manages and controls the activities, areas and / or functional domains under its management, in line with the budgets and objectives defined and reporting their developments periodically, in order to improve the performance of the area.
  • Manages a team of qualified professionals working in a complex environment, managing heterogeneous profiles in terms of professional responsabilities, expertise, and scope of action, ensuring their development, growth and motivation.
  • Attracts, leads, guides, evaluates and develops employees, ensuring the planning and adequacy of the teams in terms of size, knowledge and skills, focusing on performance and operational efficiency.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with various stakeholders, internal and external, institutionally representing Natixis as the main interlocutor in meetings, working groups, forums and conferences, if needed.
  • Follows the main trends of the sector, the market and its area of operation, as well as internal and external developments, ensuring the transfer and retention of knowledge and information in a transversal way to Natixis.
  • Liases, when applicable, with external outsourcing companies regarding recruitment and is responsible for Contract & Vendor Management.
  • Manages all the Talent Management Processes, such as the Annual Performance Review, Salary Review, Talent Review and Training.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with Natixis Peers and Management Community.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Plans, organizes, leads and monitors interdisciplinary projects.
  • Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Background in Management / Economics / Finance / Legal.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory requirements / Compliance and KYC Processes across all platforms.
  • At least 4 years experience in People Management positions.
  • Fluent in English and French as a plus. 

Soft Skills: 

  • Good interpersonal skills as well as a good negotiating capacity.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to manage a team.
  • Strong ability to engage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work well under pressure;
  • Ability to organize and manage large amounts of information using current software programs.
