A Glimpse into Your New Role

As a Team Leader, you will lead a team of schedulers responsible for audio scheduling, compliance, and inventory management for SCA’s audio content. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality service delivery, adherence to regulatory requirements, and maximization of revenue opportunities while building strong stakeholder relationships.

What You’ll Do

Performance Management:

  • Ensure all staff are onboarded and offboarded successfully.
  • Facilitate performance reviews, development plans, and coaching sessions for all team members.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to KPIs and company policies.
  • Drive HR policy compliance and address any performance or behavior issues.

Communication:

  • Organize and facilitate regular team meetings to provide effective communication.
  • Ensure efficient and clear communication of program changes, updates, and business needs.
  • Collaborate with onshore Australian clients and internal teams to align schedules and content.

Coaching:

  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to improve team competency and performance.
  • Support the onboarding of new employees and enhance their speed to competency.
  • Identify and address areas of opportunity through performance reviews and evaluations.

Audio Scheduling:

  • Prepare and manage audio schedules for SCA channels, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure correct delivery of booked campaigns, sponsorships, and adherence to client terms.
  • Manage scheduling systems and maintain data accuracy across platforms.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all scheduling activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain knowledge of programming ratings and demand information.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and optimize commercial availability and inventory integrity.
  • Process program changes and manage schedule disruptions.
  • Actively manage inventory to facilitate effective advance scheduling.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Provide accurate communication to onshore SCA teams.
  • Resolve any scheduling issues or queries in a timely manner.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships to improve team effectiveness.

People Management:

  • Support schedulers in achieving team goals and objectives.
  • Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
  • Encourage innovative thinking and attention to detail among team members.

Administrative Duties:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of schedules and inventory data.
  • Manage team attendance and leave records through the internal HR system.
What You’ll Bring
  • 1+ year experience in a leadership role, preferably in a BPO or media environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in scheduling, media, or advertising is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Experience in an inbound call-center or sales-oriented industry is beneficial.
