We are looking for a hands-on Team Leader who enjoys leading people, improving operations, and creating a high-performing and engaged team.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient logistics flow, either within the Outbound Department or the Inbound Department. You will lead and develop a team of warehouse employees while working closely with the Department Manager and other stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities:
In the Warehouse
- Ensure a smooth and efficient process from start to finish
- Ensure accurate and efficient loading and documentation processes
- Coordinate and secure timely transport bookings
- Ensure all relevant operational information is clearly communicated and followed up
Team Management & DC Operations
- Lead, motivate, and develop your team of operational employees
- Ensure a safe and positive working environment
- Work with the Department Manager on personal development plans
- Provide clear structure regarding tasks, responsibilities, and expectations
- Support the onboarding and training of new employees
- Coordinate staffing resources across departments
- Resolve ad hoc operational challenges
