The TWINSCAN Factory (TF) is responsible for the production of ASML lithography systems where factory logistics plays a crucial part in supporting production. A place where we strive to be the role model Lean Factory where quality comes first but where safety goes before all.
Within this sector ASML Motion is responsible for production and qualification of complex litho specific linear actuators for the ASML Litho System (XT, NXT, NXE, EXE). These systems are built and delivered to customer requirement, in time and at the right quality. Roles & responsibilitiesYour team consists out of two departments (Cleanroom Logistics & Warehouse) and are responsible for the material availability of the inbound material flow, inventory efficiency and quality of the outbound flow including parts, tools and packaging. As the team lead logistics, it’s your task to build the team and make sure your team is engaged and able to meet their internal and external customer demands. It’s important to keep an overview of all processes (cross department view) and work closely together with stakeholders to drive continues improvement. You will responsible for people management, including the selection process, development of the employees, goal setting and performance management. As team lead Logistics your main responsibilities are:
Build and manage two teams (CRL & WH) in the dayshift, including target setting, end year reviews, setup development actions plans, coach individual team members and define and monitor required training;
People development to ensure department flexibility and high quality standards of work;
Drive continues improvement (using ASML standard problem solving methods) within the processes of your teams and work closely together with other departments and stakeholders to contribute to the overall improvement (focus) areas of ASML Motion.
Lead your teams in a continuous changing environment
Secure timely availability of materials for production work orders and administrative accuracy of material bookings in our ERP system (SAP);
Setup skill carrousels and maintain, create or update work instructions accordingly;
Support your internal customer as best possible and set the right priorities within the teams;
Define, implement and/or improve reporting and monitoring via KPI’s
Secure good and clear communication between the different buildings of ASML Motion (Motion has two production facilities)
Relevant Bachelor / Master degree is a must (e.g. Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering).
Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in a high-tech production environment, including at least 3 years of people management experience.
Experience with planning and logistic processes.
Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.
Broad logistical and business knowledge.
Experience in change management is beneficial.
Experience with project management and stakeholder management is desirable.
Demonstrated experience in driving change using problem-solving methods such as the 4C's.
You are a team builder with good social skills and service orientation.
You are analytical, structured, persistent in acting on available information.
Able to deal with, or even enjoy, high degree of uncertainty and pressure.
The ability to enthuse colleagues in Lean Thinking as a business necessity.
Leadership skills, drive for results and act under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Good networking skills, able to work at multiple levels of the organization, from team member on the shop floor to senior managers.
Good communicator that can inspire and convince, not only the logistics team, but also stimulate all other disciplines of the naturel team (Production, Quality, Production Engineering and Production Planning).
For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 75,000 euro and 85,000 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. Company profit sharing and shift allowance (if applicable) are not included in this range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members.
