We are looking for a highly motivated Team Lead for our Product Module Department. You will become part of a friendly and outgoing professional team framed in a global setting.
Our Product Managers are in charge of defining product requirements, defining business cases and translating these into development projects. Your main responsibility will be to coordinate the team and define and secure the overall business strategy for your areas. Simultaneously, your task will be to convey these strategies to the offshore top management. Therefore, it is crucial that you understand the context and complexity of the overall business and you are familiar with the mechanisms of product management.
In bulk, your key responsibilities will be following:
- Deciding on targets, budget and resource allocation, within given limits.
- Defining and allocating resources for Product Management.
- Managing the product, solution and/or service portfolio elements assigned.
- Controlling the business performance of the product, solution and/or service portfolio elements assigned.
- Ensuring constant observation of relevant markets for the product, solution and/or service portfolio elements assigned (detailed competitor product analyses, technology, market development, etc.).
- Initiating activities to continuously improve the product lifecycle management.
- Managing organization unit(s) assigned and leads and/or coordinates dedicated management and staff.
Specific areas to cover for both DD and NG platforms are:
- Risk management (product risk implementation in sales and execution)
- Features and options (roadmaps and budgets)
- Funding support and process definition
The right candidate shall have a solid background in the wind manufacturing industry and proven experience with strategic planning and product development. Prior team lead experience is an advantage, however it is not required.
If not based in Brande, the job requires occasional presence in Brande. In the beginning, Mondays- Thursdays every second week, and later once every month.
