ABOUT THE ROLE

The Team Lead Influencer Marketing (all genders) will lead the international marketing team to boost awareness and accelerate growth in our key markets (DE, ES, IT, FR, NL). You will manage cross-channel initiatives spanning social media, influencer marketing, PR, media partnerships, and advertising to increase awareness, build community, and attract new customers.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will work closely with the Munich-based team to identify opportunities and develop creative campaigns for international markets. We seek a proactive, creative leader with strong team management and relationship-building skills—capable of fostering strategic partnerships externally and collaborating deeply with internal teams.

The ideal candidate has experience in developing strategic marketing plans across markets, executing cross-channel campaigns, and thriving in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You manage the international marketing team to implement the global marketing plan, and develop and manage all marketing initiatives for key int’l markets (DE, ES, IT, FR, NL).
  • You work with our VP of Marketing to set measurable objectives for marketing initiatives and ensure the int’l marketing team tracks performance against these KPIs.
  • You strengthen buycycle’s brand position by establishing & maintaining relationships with brands, media partners, influencers and athletes that embody buycycle values. You manage collaborations between these partners and buycycle.
  • You plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel marketing campaigns. You work closely with PR, social media, creative, and product teams to integrate regional marketing projects into broader marketing strategies.
  • You oversee regional marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maximizing campaign impact.
  • You analyse and report on the results of int’l marketing initiatives, and make recommendations to adjust the plan as needed.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have 5 to 8+ years of marketing experience.
  • You have experience and a deep passion for cycling and/or other endurance sports.
  • The ideal candidate for this position has a strong business and organisational acumen and demonstrates a native understanding of different cycling communities and cycling culture in general
  • You have a hands on mentality and are willing to take on many varying tasks within a small team.
  • You have excellent English speaking and writing skills.
