Position Overview
The Team Administrator plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of CT United FC, serving as the primary administrative liaison between players, technical staff, league offices, and internal departments. This role ensures that all logistical, compliance, and administrative needs of the team are executed accurately and efficiently, allowing the technical staff and players to focus on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all team travel, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries.
- Manage and distribute team schedules for training, matches, meetings, and league events.
- Serve as the primary administrative contact for players regarding logistics, schedules, and team operations.
- Oversee matchday administrative needs, including credentials, league documentation, and operational checklists.
- Ensure compliance with MLS NEXT Pro roster rules, player eligibility requirements, and league deadlines.
- Manage player registrations, roster submissions, transactions, and required league reporting.
- Coordinate player onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, travel setup, and orientation.
- Work closely with the Head Athletic Trainer to coordinate league-mandated medical requirements and player clearance documentation.
- Act as the liaison with MLS NEXT Pro league staff and opposing clubs on administrative matters.
- Track and reconcile team-related expenses in coordination with Finance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in professional soccer operations or team administration preferred.
- Working knowledge of MLS NEXT Pro or similar professional leagues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel extensively with the team.
