About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and supportive Teacher’s Assistant to join our instructional team. This is a blended role, providing academic and administrative support to both in-person and online learners in a dynamic and student-centered environment.The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about helping students succeed in their studies. Position: Part -Time (Depended on Class room Schedule - Monday to Friday Days)
Wages: $25.00 p/hr to $27.00 p/hr depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic support to students during in-person labs, workshops, or tutorials.
- Assist students in navigating online learning platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
- Support instructors in monitoring class participation, attendance, and assignment submissions.
- Respond to student questions and direct them to appropriate resources or supports.
- Help set up and organize instructional materials both online and in the classroom.
- Assist in marking quizzes or assignments as directed by the instructor.
- Coordinate with faculty to identify students needing extra help and provide one-on-one or group support.
- Help facilitate smooth communication between students and instructors in both learning environments.
- Completion of a diploma/degree (preferably in Healthcare services)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with online tools such as Microsoft Teams & basic troubleshooting
- Experience working with adult learners or in an academic setting is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
