Job Description:
Applicants must be available for full-time commitment from July to November 2026 and hold valid work authorization in Singapore for the entire duration.
The Commodities Team at TD Securities Singapore is seeking an intern to join our Sales & Trading team. Reporting to the Head of Metals Business in Asia, this internship offers exposure to a client-facing trading environment supporting our Corporate and Institutional client base.
The team’s core focus is OTC Precious Metals and Base Metals.
Key Responsibilities
Support onboarding of new clients and maintenance of existing client relationships
Assist in coordinating with internal stakeholders including Legal, Credit, Risk, and global Commodities teams
Provide support to the trading desk in pricing, execution, and liquidity provision activities
Monitor market developments, compile market updates, and support client commentary
Contribute to ad hoc analysis and projects to support business growth initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
Undergraduate in Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance or a related discipline
Strong interest in financial markets, particularly commodities and macro trends
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong numerical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; programming skills (e.g., Python/VBA) are a plus
Key Development Opportunities
