As the Tax Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the introduction of new digital products. Collaborating closely with Banking Operations you will establish and guide a team to fulfill tax-related responsibilities and establish a top-tier customer experience. Your role will be crucial in the integration of new products, necessitating the development of operating flows, procedures, controls, and technology user guides. This position will enable you to utilize your excellent communication abilities, risk and control mindset, and analytical approach in a dynamic environment.
Job responsibilities
- Onboard a new product, which will require creation of operating flows, procedures, controls and technology user guides
- Build relationships with colleagues in Banking Operations and other Corporate Functions to establish and refine 'client journeys'
- Recruit, lead and develop a team of dedicated professionals based in Frankfurt and Berlin.
- Operate daily controls and tasks to ensure regulatory tax obligations and client service level standards are met.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum five years people management experience with the ability to motivate and inspire.
- Strong communication skills in both German and English languages.
- Risk and control mindset.
- Data-centric with an analytical approach.
- Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-pace environment.
- Expereince in banking or/finance industry
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or Masters degree in Accounting/Taxation
- Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines
- Financial Services Operations Management experience
