The ideal candidate will join our dynamic tax M&A and advisory team, focusing on tax controversy and audit support, with opportunities to work on other tax advisory projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tax audits and disputes, including assessments, negotiations with tax authorities, and resolution strategies.
- Represent clients before the Thai Revenue Department and prepare related documentation.
- Advise clients on audit risks, compliance strategies, and dispute resolution.
- Research evolving tax laws and provide strategic tax advice.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff on audit procedures and documentation.
- Build strong relationships with clients, tax authorities, and stakeholders.
- Support various tax advisory projects, including corporate and individual tax advice, tax health checks, and other projects related to pre-self-assessment tax compliance.
- Assist Partners and Directors with project management, marketing, and business development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Law, or Economics (post-graduate degree or CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of tax experience in an international firm or in-house role.
- Strong knowledge of Thai tax laws, double tax treaties, and Revenue Department rulings.
- Excellent English communication and MS Office skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
