The Opportunity
As a Tax Innovation User Experience professional, you will engage in creating user-centric designs that enhance the effectiveness and enjoyment of products and services. Within our Tax practice, you will contribute to client engagements by gathering insights through user experience design research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to projects, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.
In this role at PwC, you will be involved in shaping user experiences across various touchpoints, such as websites and mobile apps, with a focus on usability and emotional engagement. You will participate in industry trend analysis to make projections for the future and benchmark against others in the industry. Your work will involve understanding and enhancing customer satisfaction and experience, while also exploring emerging technologies that have the potential to disrupt industries and create new opportunities. This position offers a dynamic environment where adaptability and teamwork are key to delivering impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conducting user experience (UX) design research to gather insights and improve product usability
- Developing user personas and mapping user journeys to enhance customer experience
- Collaborating with design teams to create user-centered design solutions
- Engaging in usability testing to identify areas for improvement and optimize design
- Utilizing emerging technologies to innovate and enhance user interface (UI) prototyping
- Analyzing industry trends to inform design strategies and align with business objectives
- Implementing customer experience (CX) strategies to improve satisfaction and engagement
- Participating in design development through iterative prototyping and feedback sessions
- Supporting client engagements by applying human-centered design principles
- Conducting survey research to collect user feedback and inform design decisions
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Design, Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Visual Communication, Digital Communications and Media/Multimedia, Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology
- Demonstrating intellectual curiosity and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Utilizing emerging technologies to enhance user experience design
- Engaging in user experience (UX) design research and usability testing

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $142,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
