Tax Innovation Delivery Experience (TIDE) - User Experience Design - Intern - Summer 2027

The Opportunity
As an Innovation and Delivery Experience User Experience Design Intern, you will engage in creating user-centric design solutions that enhance brand experiences and drive customer engagement. Within our Tax practice, you will gain exposure to the complexities of the global tax landscape, contributing to innovative solutions that help businesses navigate tax regulations and optimize their strategies. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, developing your personal brand in the process.

Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in the design and development of user-centric solutions
- Participating in usability testing to gather insights and improve design outcomes
- Engaging in user research to understand user behaviors and needs
- Assisting in the creation of user journeys and personas to enhance user experience
- Collaborating with team members to apply human-centered design principles
- Contributing to the development of user interface prototypes for stakeholder review
- Applying creative design skills to develop visually appealing and functional designs
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain exposure to industry practices
- Utilizing intellectual curiosity to explore innovative design solutions
- Actively listening and accepting feedback to refine design concepts and approaches
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Design, Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Visual Communication, Digital Communications and Media/Multimedia, Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology
- Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA
- Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
- Demonstrating skills in user experience (UX) design research
- Utilizing creative design to enhance user engagement
- Conducting usability testing to optimize design solutions
- Applying human-centered design principles in projects
- Developing user interface (UI) prototypes for stakeholder presentations
The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
