As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a Government Grants & Incentives Specialist to support our access to public funding and fiscal benefits critical to our innovation, manufacturing, and infrastructure expansion.
Position Summary:
The Tax Advisor will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing government funding opportunities, tax reliefs at local, national, and EU levels. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximize financial support through available government programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze Polish and EU-level government programs, public funding opportunities, and regulatory changes relevant to the EV sector.
• Identify applicable grants, tax incentives, subsidies, and preferential financing for EV production, R&D, charging infrastructure, and workforce development.
• Prepare and coordinate applications for funding, including documentation, business cases, and compliance reports.
• Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, public institutions, and local municipalities.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, R&D, and project management teams to ensure alignment between business strategy and available public support.
• Track ongoing developments in state aid rules (Pomoc Publiczna), EU Green Deal initiatives, and sustainability-linked incentives.
• Advise senior management on strategic opportunities for governmental co-financing of current and future projects.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and deadlines related to any granted programs or incentives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in government relations, public funding, or grants advisory, preferably in the automotive, energy, or tech sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Polish and EU funding instruments, including NFOŚiGW, PARP, BGK, and EU Structural and Cohesion Funds.
• Familiarity with tax incentives (e.g., CIT reliefs, R&D credits, investment zones like PSI).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Polish and English (both written and verbal).
• Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with or within governmental or EU institutions.
• Knowledge of emerging trends in e-mobility, climate policy, or ESG regulations.
• Prior experience in drafting grant proposals or public-private partnership agreements.
