You'll serve as the main coordinator of the Tax Department by managing schedules, tracking projects, gathering client information, performing tax research, assisting with tax preparation, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. The ideal candidate enjoys creating order from chaos, takes initiative without being asked, follows through relentlessly, deadline driven, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone to obtain missing information. Skills Required
- Minimum of two to three tax seasons preparing income tax returns
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience preparing Forms 1040, 1120S, 1065, 1120 and 1041
- Experience with IRS correspondence
