Location: Milton, PA
Summary:
Tarps and secures product loaded on flatbed trailers for shipment and unsecures and untarps product on flatbed trailers for unloading. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Elevated heights for tarping trailers is required.
1- Follows oral and written duties and procedures for each.
2- Place and secure poly and tarps on flatbed trailers as required on top of the loads.
3- Secure the loaded product by climbing on top of the loaded trailer using a ladder, placing straps across the top of the load, placing corner protectors where the straps meet the end of the load, securing straps along the bottom edge of one side of the trailer, and tightening the strap on the other side using a bar and arm strength.
4-Observes all safety policies and wears the required Personal Protective Equipment at all time.
5- Keeps work areas and truck lots clean and orderly.
6- Employees work inside and outside. In case of snow employees remove the snow by shoveling the trailers.
7- Works well with others.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday day shift schedule. Weekend work and overtime mandatory if needed.
Compensation:
- Pay $17.00/hr
- Weekly Pay-- Every Friday
- Benefits Offered After 90 Days of Employment

Skills Required
- Ability to tarp and untarp flatbed trailers
- Comfortable working at elevated heights and climbing onto trailers using a ladder
- Physical strength to lift, secure straps, and use a bar to tighten straps
- Follow oral and written procedures and observe safety policies; wear required PPE at all times
- Work indoors and outdoors and perform snow removal (shoveling) when needed
- Keep work areas and truck lots clean and orderly
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Availability for Monday–Friday day shift; weekend work and overtime mandatory if needed
