About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Talent Sourcer to join our People Operations team. This role is crucial for maintaining a robust candidate pipeline, with a focus on specialized financial profiles (Accounting, Bookkeeping, Controllership). Beyond sourcing, the specialist will support essential initial HR and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process from search to onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
I. Sourcing and Candidate Screening (Primary Focus)
- Candidate Generation: Proactively source and identify top-tier talent using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and professional networks.
- Targeted Search: Develop and execute tailored search strategies, with a strong emphasis on finding candidates for Finance, Accounting, and Bookkeeping roles.
- Initial Filtering: Conduct thorough initial screening and pre-qualification of candidates based on resume, compensation expectations, and technical skills (e.g., system proficiency, GAAP knowledge).
- Job Postings: Manage the creation and optimization of engaging job advertisements across various platforms to attract a diverse pool of applicants.
- Introductory Interviews: Conduct basic introductory calls and interviews to assess cultural fit and mandatory role requirements before escalating to hiring managers.
- Offer Documentation: Assist in preparing and formatting offer letters and contractor agreements.
- Onboarding: Execute basic administrative onboarding tasks for new hires, including initial communication, document collection, and system access setup.
- Offboarding: Handle basic administrative offboarding procedures, ensuring the correct closure of records and communication channels.
- System Maintenance: Maintain data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and internal HR databases.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a Sourcing, Talent Acquisition, or Recruitment role.
- Exceptional ability to screen and filter candidates quickly and accurately based on specific technical criteria.
- High proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and standard job posting platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Financial Profiles: Knowledge of key terminology, systems (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite), and certifications relevant to Accounting, FP&A, or Controllership roles.
- Experience with initial HR administrative tasks (Onboarding/Offboarding).
- Experience conducting screening interviews.
