Job Description

Job Summary:
Under general direction, the Talent Management & Acquisition Specialist leads integrated talent strategies across the full employee lifecycle. This role partners with HR Business Partners and business leaders to attract, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The position oversees recruitment, talent management programs, and data-driven insights to support workforce readiness and business success. This position reports the status of all projects and initiatives to their leader.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Designs, implements, and continuously improves integrated talent management and talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Manages full-cycle recruitment, including workforce planning alignment, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • Partners with HR Business Partners and business leaders to assess talent needs, hiring priorities, and long-term development strategies
  • Leads and supports enterprise talent processes such as performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning
  • Develops and executes proactive sourcing strategies using multiple channels to build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines
  • Facilitates talent discussions, calibration sessions, and hiring decisions with structured, data-informed insights
  • Analyzes talent and recruitment data to identify trends and drive decision-making
  • Ensures a positive candidate and employee experience across the full talent lifecycle
  • Develops tools, frameworks, and guidance to support managers in effective hiring, onboarding, and talent development practices
  • Applies a solutions-oriented approach to identify root causes and implement improvements
  • Maintains accurate documentation and systems to ensure data integrity and reporting effectiveness
  • Ensures talent programs align with organizational strategy, objectives, and workforce planning priorities

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in progressive experience in talent management, recruitment, or HR roles
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and talent management programs
  • Proficiency in English and the French, including strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience owning and leading talent management programs
  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into strategic recommendations
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to make timely and effective decisions
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop practical system, trainings or process solutions that improve Talent Management and Talent Acquisition operations
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • Strong communication skills in both verbal and in writing
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience partnering with senior leaders on talent and succession planning
  • Familiarity with change management and organizational development principles
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and talent management systems
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards
  • Experience with recruitment and talent analytics

 

Work Environment:

  • The role will be performed in a manufacturing setting with frequent exposure to equipment and machinery.
  • May require occasional travel between plant locations and corporate offices.
  • Flexibility to work in both an office and a plant environment is required.

 

This would be an SWM contract.

Skills Required
