We are building a new breed of AI systems that (1) understand the real world, (2) have persistent memory, (3) can reason and plan, and (4) are controllable and safe.
We are a team of scientists and engineers building frontier world model-based AI. We combine the scientific rigor of a top-tier research institute with focus on engineering excellence and execution.
We are a global company, with offices in Paris, Montreal, New York, and Singapore. Come build the future of AI with us!
About the Role:We’re looking for a Talent Intelligence Partner to help us identify, understand, and engage exceptional AI talent around the world.
This is a sourcing-led recruiting role. You’ll spend much of your time researching the frontier AI landscape, mapping leading labs, universities, startups, and research communities, and building relationships with exceptional researchers and engineers, often well before they are considering their next move.
Your job isn’t simply to fill open roles. It’s to understand where exceptional AI talent is emerging and help AMI build relationships before those individuals become obvious candidates.
This is also a hands-on startup role. You should be scrappy, resourceful, and willing to jump into whatever keeps a critical search moving—from recruiting operations and interview scheduling to candidate management, offers, and closing. Your primary focus will remain sourcing and talent intelligence, but no part of the recruiting process should feel beneath you.
You’ll work closely with Talent, hiring managers, and researchers to shape hiring strategy, anticipate future talent needs, and help AMI become a destination for the world’s best AI researchers and engineers.
Own or support full-cycle recruiting for priority searches, including sourcing, inbound pipeline management, candidate screening, offer strategy, and closing.
Manage inbound candidates by screening, assessing, and progressing high-potential talent through the interview process.
Build proactive sourcing strategies for Research Scientists, Research Engineers, ML Engineers, Software Engineers, and other frontier AI roles.
Develop detailed talent maps across frontier AI labs, universities, startups, conferences, and open-source communities.
Produce actionable talent intelligence on competitor hiring, talent movement, emerging research areas, and high-potential individuals.
Design practical, scalable sourcing systems and processes that strengthen AMI's ability to identify and engage exceptional talent.
Jump in wherever needed to keep hiring moving, including interview scheduling, recruiting operations, ATS management, and candidate coordination.
Deliver a thoughtful, high-touch candidate experience from first outreach through offer acceptance.
Significant experience sourcing and recruiting exceptional talent.
Deep interest in AI research and understanding emerging technologies, research areas, and technical communities.
Experience recruiting AI/ML, Research Scientist, Research Engineer, or similarly technical profiles.
Comfort reading technical papers, following leading researchers, and developing an informed perspective on where important work is happening.
A scrappy, low-ego, startup mindset—you are equally comfortable developing a long-term talent strategy and solving an immediate scheduling or coordination problem.
Strong candidate engagement and closing skills, particularly with passive or highly sought-after talent.
The ability to operate independently, make progress through ambiguity, and build structure where little exists.
Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
A resourceful, self-directed, and naturally investigative approach.
Experience at a frontier AI lab, leading research organization, or top technology company.
An existing network within the global AI research community.
Experience recruiting globally across multiple locations.
Hands-on recruiting operations experience, including Ashby or another modern ATS.
Familiarity with major AI conferences, including NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL, and EMNLP.
Experience building a talent intelligence or sourcing function from the ground up.
Exceptional sourcing skills across arXiv, LinkedIn, GitHub, Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, conference proceedings, open-source communities, referrals, and other non-traditional channels.
