Job Summary
The Talent Development Senior Consultant works with Talent Development leaders and HR business partners to design and deliver talent and learning solutions to improve business results. Successful candidates will be passionate about creating a learning culture and strategically growing the capacity and capability of talent.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Talent Development leaders and HR business partners to design and curate creative learning programs and pathways to support strategic business priorities.
- Researches and identifies modern learning tools, methods, modalities and distribution methods. Recommends opportunities to apply new technologies to modernize the learner experience across the CNA talent development ecosystem.
- Manages the design, development and deployment of talent and learning content including program delivery and facilitation.
- Uses strong project management practices to set strategy and budget for multi-work stream projects; plans, develops and implements learning solutions; keeps stakeholders engaged and informed.
- Researches and establishes relationships with relevant external vendors, partnering to customize content.
- Designs and implements proactive communication and change management plans to ensure initiatives are well executed.
- Works closely with HR Shared Services to evaluate learning outcomes, participant satisfaction and business outcomes, and recommends continuous improvement methods.
- Proactively engages in external research and knowledge sharing to stay current on talent and leadership development trends and best practices and acts as an instructional design expert to key stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of learner experience design, instructional design methods, adult learning and modern blended learning theory and strategies. Expertise and knowledge in contemporary leadership development trends is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of learning technologies, content creation and curation tools and learning modalities. This includes CNA's Learning Management System and Microsoft Office Suite as well as learning technologies such as Articulate 360, Rise and Vyond.
- Solid business acumen, knowledge of business and client groups, and ability to effectively conduct needs analysis and implement talent and learning strategies to support business goals.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to facilitate large groups through the use of group dynamics while encouraging creativity and innovation and achievement of learning outcomes.
- Excellent project management, organizing and planning skills and ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast paced and challenging environment.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable navigating organizational dynamics.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and make critical business decisions effectively, at times with ambiguous or incomplete information

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent.
- Typically a minimum of eight years of strategic talent development experience.

I n certain jurisdictions, CNA is legally required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. In District of Columbia , California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois , Maryland , Massachusetts , New York and Washington, the national base pay range for this job level is $72,000 to $141,000 annually.Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
