Weis Restaurant Group is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager who can help us find those people, build stronger leadership pipelines, and improve how we attract and hire talent across our organization.

This is more than a recruiting position. We are looking for someone who understands that hiring is a business strategy and wants to help build the systems, partnerships, and talent pipelines needed to support our restaurants today and prepare us for future growth.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will partner closely with Human Resources, Operations, Marketing, District Managers, and restaurant leaders across the Weis Restaurant Group family of brands. This person will support recruiting at all levels of the organization, with a strong focus on leadership recruiting, hard-to-fill positions, workforce planning, and building a sustainable bench of future leaders.

What You’ll Own Talent Acquisition Strategy
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies across our brands and markets.

  • Lead recruiting efforts for leadership and hard-to-fill positions.

  • Support restaurant leaders with hourly recruiting needs.

  • Build proactive candidate pipelines instead of waiting for positions to become vacant.

  • Partner with Operations to understand current and future workforce needs.

Leadership Pipelines and Workforce Readiness
  • Build and maintain internal and external leadership pipelines.

  • Help create visibility around bench strength, readiness, and succession risks.

  • Facilitate regular talent-review conversations with Operations leaders.

  • Track agreed-upon development actions and follow up to ensure progress.

  • Connect qualified employees with advancement opportunities.

  • Recruit external talent when the internal bench is not sufficient.

Hiring Excellence
  • Create consistent and effective hiring practices across the organization.

  • Develop interview guides, candidate evaluations, and other hiring resources.

  • Train and coach leaders on interviewing skills and legal hiring practices.

  • Participate in management and leadership interviews.

  • Help leaders make thoughtful, consistent hiring decisions based on long-term fit not simply fill an open position.

Employment Brand and Community Partnerships
  • Partner with Marketing to strengthen our employment brand.

  • Build relationships with high schools, colleges, trade schools, workforce agencies, and community organizations.

  • Represent Weis Restaurant Group at career fairs, networking opportunities, and community events.

  • Find creative ways to introduce candidates to our brands and career opportunities.

Recruiting Systems and Workforce Insights
  • Maintain and improve our Applicant Tracking System, recruiting workflows, and candidate experience.

  • Track recruiting results and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop recruiting scorecards, dashboards, and leadership reporting.

  • Maintain job descriptions and Seat Guides.

  • Use hiring data and workforce trends to help leaders make better business decisions.

  • Builds trust quickly and develops meaningful relationships.

  • Is naturally curious and enjoys getting to know people.

  • Can identify both a candidate’s current strengths and future potential.

  • Communicates effectively with candidates, restaurant leaders, executives, and community partners.

  • Is comfortable networking and representing the company in the community.

  • Can balance strategic work with hands-on recruiting.

  • Uses hiring data and recruiting metrics to improve results.

  • Takes ownership, follows through, and stays persistent when positions are difficult to fill.

  • Is comfortable working in a growing, fast-moving organization where priorities may change.

Experience supporting a multi-location restaurant, hospitality, retail, or similarly fast-paced organization would be especially valuable.
