The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for facilitating and executing the delivery of high-volume recruiting for KBI. This position will work closely with HR colleagues and hiring managers to source, screen, recommend and hire candidates across various functional areas and locations.
 

Responsibilities:

  • The Talent Acquisition Specialist III/Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist should be able to recruit on positions of increased difficulty, with minimal assistance from others.
  • Drive full life cycle recruiting by partnering closely with Talent Acquisition Manager and Hiring Managers to implement effective sourcing strategies and recruiting methods.
  • Leverage expertise to actively source candidates and develop networks to build robust pipeline of candidates.
  • Review, analyze and clarify job specifications/requirements, competencies/skills required to fulfill staffing for critical, high volume and hard to fill positions.
  • Effectively support the needs of multiple internal clients and manage against tight hiring deadlines. Post job openings on relevant job boards and assist with advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and monitors the recruiting process to ensure sufficient progression of candidates. Use ATS to monitor and track candidate progress for open requisitions and to disposition candidates. Ensures compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements. 
  • May Assist Talent Acquisition Manager with developing and implementing processes, reporting and leading the team on key projects and initiatives.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition Manager on opportunities to expand KBIs’ internal & external footprint.
  • Provide peer coaching and mentoring to other Talent Acquisition team members.
  • Work with other Human Resources personnel to ensure new hires have completed necessary documents for successful onboarding.
  • Provide administrative support and coordination of general Human Resources areas, including gathering, updating, organizing, and protecting employee data both paper and electronic.
  • Partner with Human Resources Manager and Talent Acquisition Manager on special projects and department initiatives as needed. 
  • Assist with general staff inquires, clarifying policies and general information regarding HR programs, site activities and events. Ensure compliance with various regulations involving FMLA, ADAAA, Workers’ Compensation, and HIPPA. Provide support for HR projects as needed.
  • Timely completion of administrative duties such as expense reports, timesheets, and other general assignments.

Minimum Requirements

Talent Acquisition Specialist Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS applications; Workday preferred but not require.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment and to ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, facilitate projects and business processes and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong partnership and problem-solving skills required. MS Office skills required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Experience supporting biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, science, engineering, and technical positions strongly desired.
     

Full life cycle recruiting experience preferred: Life Science recruiting experience can be considered in lieu of minimum talent acquisition experience requirements.

  • (TA level 3) Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and at least six years of human resources, talent acquisition and interviewing experience.
  • (Senior TA Specialist) Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and at least eight years of human resources, talent acquisition and interviewing experience.
