This role is part of our Personalized Creative team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. The Role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Creative & Media you will be helping us build the future of our agency through effective talent acquisition strategies. You are dynamic and flexible as you will need to create a balance between the social and technical components of your role. You are strategic, as well as executional, and understand that this role is equal parts project management, relationship building, and actively recruiting.

What will your day be like?

  • Acts as a strategic member of the DEPT® team representing recruitment and P&C to ensure alignment with organizational goals and the sustainability of its recruitment and onboarding programs
  • Develop a deep understanding of our organizations’ skills, goals, and interests to help identify gaps and opportunities for growth
  • Work with stakeholders and P&C in defining the critical hiring needs to attract a diverse set of candidates for their team(s)
  • Recommend and drive improvements to ensure the team is at the cutting edge of your domain expertise (Creative & Media)
  • Manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment and remain organized and strategic under tight deadlines
  • Own all aspects of the recruiting process including sourcing talent, advising hiring managers, job posting, screening calls, and offer negotiation
  • Establish trust and perception of consistently bringing expertise and an educated, business-focused point of view to the table
  • Build the proactive recruitment pipeline by reaching out and maintaining contact with talent at other organizations who have the potential to make good additions to the team now or in the future. This may be achieved through direct contact, social media, such as LinkedIn, and other identified sources
  • Build and maintain a large network of freelance contacts to support our short-term hiring needs
  • Create an organized and efficient sourcing and vetting process with the hiring teams 
  • Leading a team of sourcer(s)

Who You Are

  • Impressive candidate engagement approach with ability to activate passive candidates
  • Understand and execute against shifts in the marketplace that present recruiting opportunities in an agency setting
  • Industry knowledge in the Creative & Media recruiting space with ability to understand relevant skills, target companies, open source communities, etc.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Can navigate ambiguity when priorities change by remaining focused, productive, and seeking guidance on how to respond
  • Possesses a strong professional "brand" within the team that elevates one's ability to create value
  • Consistently ensures that work proposed / being done is maximizing the recruiting process and/or candidate experience
  • Prior experience sourcing and recruiting in the creative & media industries, with a heavy focus on agency and contractor hiring
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a recruitment or staffing role focused on designers, copywriters, account managers, etc. with a large network of contacts
  • 2+ years of experience in an agency setting is a plus
  • Experience with managing or mentoring a team is a plus
