About the Position:

Intuitive Machines is seeking a hands-on Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full-cycle recruiting, primarily for engineering and other technical positions, at our Houston location. This is an onsite, 1099 contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition to a full-time position based on business needs and performance.

The ideal candidate brings proven in-house/corporate recruiting experience, takes ownership of assigned requisitions, and is comfortable sourcing, screening, partnering with hiring managers, negotiating offers, and closing hires. We are looking for a recruiter who enjoys recruiting execution and can deliver a strong candidate and hiring-manager experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

•  Manage full life cycle recruitment for assigned engineering, technical, and other business requisitions, from intake through offer acceptance.

•  Partner directly with hiring managers to understand role requirements, establish realistic candidate profiles, align on hiring priorities, and maintain strong working relationships.

•  Proactively source and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, professional networks, and other sourcing channels.

•  Conduct candidate screens to assess relevant skills, experience, qualifications, career interests, and alignment with position requirements.

•  Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines, including for specialized and hard-to-fill technical positions.

•  Coordinate interview processes, gather timely feedback, and keep candidates and hiring managers informed throughout each search.

•  Lead candidate conversations regarding compensation expectations, manage offer negotiations in coordination with HR and hiring managers, and close candidates through accepted offers.

•  Manage multiple active requisitions, prioritize effectively, and provide clear, consistent updates on pipeline activity and recruiting progress.

•  Maintain accurate candidate records, requisition activity, and documentation in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

•  Partner with the broader HR and Talent Acquisition team to support pre-employment activities and a smooth handoff to onboarding.

Requirements:

•  3–7 years of full life cycle recruiting experience in an internal/corporate talent acquisition capacity; demonstrated in-house recruiting experience is required.

•  Hands-on experience proactively sourcing candidates and conducting candidate screening interviews.

•  Proven ability to establish and maintain successful, consultative relationships with hiring managers.

•  Demonstrated experience managing offer negotiations, overcoming candidate objections, and successfully closing requisitions.

•  Experience working in an applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage candidates, requisitions, and recruiting workflows.

•  Ability to manage multiple requisitions independently while maintaining strong organization, communication, and follow-through.

•  Ability to understand and recruit for technical or engineering-related positions.

•  Ability to commute to and work onsite at the Intuitive Machines location in Houston, TX.

Preferred Requirements:

•  Prior corporate recruiting experience in aerospace, defense, or aviation.

•  Experience recruiting across engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, software, avionics, systems, or structural engineering.

•  Experience with ADP Workforce Now or ADP recruiting tools.

•  Experience supporting specialized technical hiring in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
