About the Role

As a trusted talent partner to our regional teams, you will:

  • Represent Aurecon at career fairs, university events and other regional talent initiatives
  • Provide market insights and recruitment advice to help leaders navigate challenging or talent-short markets
  • Use recruitment systems, technology, data and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and candidate experience
  • Support consistent recruitment processes, governance and best practice across our regional offices

While primarily based in Gladstone or Townsville, some regional travel may be required from time to time to connect with our people, universities and communities across Queensland.

About You

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Strong recruitment experience gained within an in-house, agency or combined environment
  • Experience recruiting professional, technical or engineering talent
  • Confidence managing a broad portfolio of roles across different disciplines and levels
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with local and senior leaders
  • A proactive sourcing mindset and confidence approaching passive talent
  • An interest in Graduate, Intern and early careers recruitment
  • Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using recruitment systems and ATS platforms, with Workday experience highly regarded
  • Confidence using emerging technology, AI-enabled tools and data insights to support smarter recruitment
  • An agile, solutions-focused approach and the ability to adapt as regional hiring priorities change

Experience recruiting within engineering, infrastructure, transport, resources, water, environment or buildings would be highly regarded.

  • Help strengthen Aurecon’s Graduate and Intern pipeline in regional Queensland
  • Develop relationships with universities and emerging talent within your local market
  • Join a collaborative Queensland Talent Acquisition team while having the autonomy to shape how we attract talent regionally
