The US Talent Acquisition & Operations Manager will play a leading role in the Milltown Partners Talent Operations function, based in our New York office. This person will report into our Global Head of Talent Operations who is based in London. This person will drive our US talent acquisition operations for our San Francisco and New York teams as well as contribute to a high quality employee experience for all of our US colleagues. This role will suit someone who has talent acquisition experience, is proactive, resourceful and excited to contribute to the continued success of a scaling firm. 


Responsibilities of the role


Deliver against US talent acquisition strategy

- Proactively source and recruit candidates for roles at every level of the business; managing advertisements, maximising our referral network and direct outreach

- Monitor, build and maintain hiring pipeline of potential candidates for anticipated growth

- Build and manage key external relationships: recruitment agencies, on-campus partners and third party platforms

- Manage and coordinate interview process through Lever (ATS): scheduling, preparing interviewers, conducting screening interviews and answering candidate questions

- Provide a high quality interview process experience to candidates and colleagues alike, seeking feedback and striking to make improvements

- Oversee collation of feedback and make informed recommendations to Head of Talent Operations and US leadership

- Ensure all activity accommodates and raises the bar on diversity amongst the pool of candidates: reviewing recruitment materials, identifying potential partner organisations, coordinating internal training, proactive candidate sourcing

- Use data and insights to improve the effectiveness of our talent acquisition: measuring interview quality, impact of budget deployment, understanding industry best practice


Support US talent operations execution

- Support Global People Director and US Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks eg. L&D programme management, system management, employee paperwork, benefits administration

- Contributing to scalable operations processes through codifying processes, internal upskilling and knowledge sharing

- Act as a positive representative of Milltown Partners’ employer brand internally and externally.

Must-have requirements

  • Minimum 2 years talent acquisition experience in a professional services firm, ideally corporate communications or public relations
  • A fluent command of verbal and written English
  • Ability to come into the office every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday between 845am - 6pm
  • Successful applicants will need to have the right to work in the United States
