About Appvia

Appvia is a self-funded, London-based platform engineering, software, and AI enablement consultancy, helping organisations design, build, and operate modern cloud platforms and transform how software is delivered.

We work with customers across public and private sectors, supporting complex technology programmes across cloud, platform engineering, software engineering, data, AI, delivery, and managed services.

Since the start of 2026, Appvia has grown from 60 to 120 people, driven by new customer demand, new capabilities, and continued investment in our people. Alongside growth across our AWS, Azure, Software Engineering, Data & AI, and Delivery practices, we are continuing to scale the Talent Acquisition function to support the next stage of Appvia’s growth.

About the role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join Appvia during an exciting period of growth and expansion.

This is a hands-on, high-volume recruitment role, owning delivery across multiple vacancies while contributing to the continued development of Appvia’s Talent Acquisition strategy, processes, reporting, employer brand, and hiring standards.

You will work closely with hiring managers across engineering, delivery, product, sales, marketing, operations, and leadership to understand hiring needs, shape role requirements, build strong candidate pipelines, and deliver high-quality hires at pace.

Reporting into the Head of Operations, you will also work closely with People Operations to ensure a seamless candidate and onboarding experience, while helping Appvia scale without compromising the quality, culture, and standards that have got us here.

This will be the fourth member of Appvia’s Talent Acquisition team, joining a growing function with a clear opportunity to make an immediate and visible impact.

Interview process

  • 1st stage interview with our TA Lead
  • 2nd stage interview with our Head of Operations
  • Final with Leadership

RequirementsResponsibilities
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple vacancies, from role briefing through to offer and start date
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements, shape job specifications, and define the skills, competencies, and behaviours needed for each role
  • Proactively source and engage high-quality candidates across cloud, platform engineering, software engineering, data, AI, delivery, commercial, and business functions
  • Manage candidate pipelines, interview processes, feedback loops, offer discussions, and candidate experience
  • Contribute to Appvia’s Talent Acquisition strategy, including workforce planning, sourcing strategy, process improvement, reporting, and employer brand
  • Use platforms including Workable, LinkedIn Recruiter, Glassdoor, and Appvia’s careers page to manage and improve hiring activity
  • Work closely with People Operations to support a smooth onboarding journey for new starters
  • Maintain high standards of recruitment documentation, compliance, and process consistency
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics, providing insight to hiring managers and leadership
  • Support employer brand activity across LinkedIn, events, community engagement, and candidate-facing content
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring demand
  • Minimise reliance on recruitment agencies by building strong direct sourcing capability, while managing supplier relationships where required
  • Support salary benchmarking and market mapping across competitive technical hiring markets
  • Act as a strong ambassador for Appvia, representing the business with credibility and professionalism at every stage of the hiring process
About you

We are looking for someone who is delivery-focused, commercially aware, and comfortable recruiting in fast-paced, competitive technology markets.

You should bring:

  • Proven experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously in a fast-paced recruitment environment
  • Strong sourcing and headhunting capability across technical and business roles
  • Experience hiring into technology, consultancy, cloud, software engineering, platform engineering, digital transformation, data, AI, or similar markets

  • A track record of building talent pipelines for challenging and competitive roles
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, ideally Workable
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn Recruiter and modern sourcing methods
  • Excellent candidate management, communication, and closing skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
  • A data-led approach to recruitment activity, reporting, and decision-making
  • Good understanding of recruitment compliance and fair selection practices
  • Calmness under pressure, strong prioritisation skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Genuine interest in technology, cloud, software, platform engineering, data, and AI
