Talent Acquisition Leader - Europe

As the Talent Acquisition Leader for Europe, you will have responsibility to lead and manage the talent acquisition activities for the European Region. Responsibilities will include management of in-house recruiters and external recruitment partners, ensure best-in-class recruitment processes and employer branding strategies. The position will be based in Stockholm (Solna), and is part of the Global Talent Acquisition Team, reporting to our Director, Global Talent Management. You will also have a dotted line reporting to our Vice President, Human Resources for Stoneridge Electronics, who is located in our Stockholm office.

Ideal candidates should have several years of corporate recruitment experience, recruiting a wide range of roles, mainly within the tech industry. This is a hands-on role which will include full life cycle recruiting activities for corporate function positions in our Stockholm HQ. You will also work on a strategic level with how to attract the best talent and to set up effective employer branding activities within Europe and collaborate closely with local HR.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end recruitment processes regionally in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to identify and hire qualified candidates for assigned open positions in Europe, addressing regional needs and talent market dynamics.
  • Leverage analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes.
  • Optimize the global talent acquisition life cycle.
  • Facilitate full-life cycle recruitment activities including advertising, candidate sourcing/head hunting and screening, offer, presentation and negotiation, and pre-employment onboarding activities.
  • Develop connections with various candidate sources to build pipelines of talent.
  • Project Leader for development and maintenance of EVP (Employer Value Proposition) and Global Branding. 
  • Localizing Employer Branding for European Region
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, candidate market and best practices by actively participating in workshops, conferences, and training sessions- 
  • Share knowledge with the internal team and implement innovative recruitment techniques.
  • Collaborate with leaders on staffing needs to evaluate, prioritize, and create action plans around staffing gaps and hiring needs.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams to enhance the overall recruitment experience.
  • Ensuring an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, reinforcing our employer brand.

Personal competencies

As an individual, you can communicate efficiently, build strong relationships and influence others. You have excellent customer service skills and the possibility to work efficiently with all levels of the organization, supporting managers in various departments. We also believe you have a can-do attitude and see possibilities and improvement areas and are driven and able to execute and work independently as well as in a team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of corporate recruiting experience working with high volume recruiting in a Human Resources function, preferably in the automotive or tech industry.
  • Previous experience in full life cycle recruiting activities for engineering and corporate function positions.
  • Proficient English-speaking knowledge is a must since we are a global company.
  • Highly computer literate with experience working with MS Office such as outlook, PowerPoint, teams and excel.
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices, especially as they pertain to recruitment.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Prior experience in an HR metrics-driven organization.
  • It’s an additional qualification if you have experience of working with Workday or similar HRIS System. It is also a plus if you have previous experience building and implementing recruitment strategies and previous experience building and managing employer branding activities.
