Job Description
What does the role involve?
As our Editorial TA Lead, you will oversee c500 roles annually across our regional and national news brands. You'll manage a team of two Editorial Talent Sourcers and occasionally work operationally on a small caseload of vacancies as and when required. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with editorial management teams and HR Business Partners to ensure we provide an excellent service to the business. You'll contribute to rolling out our employer value proposition (EVP) to help us attract and retain top talent.
Diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of our recruitment efforts. You'll collaborate with the Group Talent Acquisition Manager and our DEI Team to focus on inclusive hiring practices. Data-driven decision-making will be essential as you use insights to support hiring decisions made by editorial managers.
In addition to managing recruitment activities, you'll lead editorial project initiatives as needed and build strong relationships with key editorial senior managers to drive collaboration and influence. You'll present monthly data on team performance, including key talent acquisition metrics, and analyse this data to identify trends and implement improvements.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
To achieve success in this role, you will have extensive experience in the talent acquisition field, and have previously managed others in this space. Your expertise should encompass all aspects of the field, including building and utilising talent pools within a CRM system. We would like you to be comfortable analysing TA data and creating commentary with a solutions-focused lens.
You will have a passion for promoting DEI throughout the hiring cycle and supporting managers in this space. Previous experience in hiring through headhunting is key, as is the ability to navigate change and have collaborative conversations to drive improvements.
You will enjoy motivating and influencing stakeholders, with a keen eye for identifying, developing, and promoting best practice with a continuous improvement mindset. Most importantly, you are passionate about creating an exceptional candidate experience.
